The university has 21 full-time departments, a center for foreign students,departments for correspondence, an inter-branch institute for advanced studies and five research and design institutes.It prepares specialists in the fields of

The university consists of more than 20 buildings.There are two campuses in the university-Main campus and Dormitory campus.Main campus, where most buildings are situated-Main Building(residence of Rector’s Office and some administrative services), Educational Buildings U-1 and U-2, Main Classroom Building, Chemistry building, Physics Building, Mathematics Building, Radio-electronic Building, Electrotechnical Building, Engineering Building, Technical Building, Computing Centre, modern Library Building and many others.

Dormitory campus is located five minutes walking form the Main campus and has a few dormitories buildings, Student Palace (place for solemn events and student arts groups training),
